Hardee's Franchisee

Opportunity:
One of the largest franchisees of Hardee's Restaurants in the country had identified several growth opportunities including store expansion, multi-branding, and remodeling of existing locations. In order to take advantage of these opportunities, the franchisee wanted to create additional liquidity.

Cardinal Solution:
Cardinal Capital Partners completed a sale-leaseback of 38 of the franchisee’s owned locations. The portfolio was comprised of Hardee's properties in three states with a total value in excess of $30 million. The sale-leaseback enabled the company to lower its overall cost of capital, better enabling it to seize these growth opportunities.
